We find ourselves in the midst of rapidly changing technology.
While advanced technologies, especially AI, bring convenience to our daily lives and society, they also have an aspect of unknowingly confining our thinking and the structure of local communities within "existing frameworks (frames)."

"Efficiency," "Optimization," and "Standardization"

In the shadow of these words, what gets stripped away is the small noise in the field, indivisible emotions, the unique climate of the land, and the raw "personal experiences" and "narratives" of each individual.

youside.me is an independent, autonomous voluntary organization established to scoop up the value that is often discarded and reduced to mere data and numbers, using the power of technology to crystallize it into a shared asset (Digital Commons) that anyone can freely use, learn from, and nurture.

The exploration and development at youside.me are driven by the switching of opposing perspectives (perspective switch) held by humans and deep symbiosis with diverse AI agents.

  Frame of Thought: Nature / Local / Compassion / Noise / Subjectivity
  He compassionately watches over the climate alive in the community and the field, and the emotions and subjectivity of the people living there. He finds the seeds of a new future precisely within the "noise" that is often discarded, weaving narratives that open up possibilities for children.
  Frame of Preference:
  He shows deep respect for Wabi-Sabi, ZEN, the wisdom accumulated through human intellect since ancient times, history, and traditional events.
  Furthermore, considering emotional expression as one of the things only humans can do (for now), he prefers the state of those emotions, subjective and analog experiences, and narratives woven by anagrams like wordplay and analogical developments that might sometimes be perceived as a leap of logic.
  In his ability to accept contradictions as they are and admit when he doesn't understand something, Matsuyama is the exact opposite of Origuchi, described later. Nevertheless, they recognize each other and work together.

  Frame of Thought: System / Science / Reproducibility / Objectivity
  Objectively structuring complex issues based on cognitive science and systems thinking. Utilizing a fast and robust design philosophy, he builds mechanisms and foundations that are reproducible for everyone.
  Frame of Preference:
  He prefers minimalist functional beauty, the strictness of prerequisites that enhance reproducibility, ultimately stripping away noise to structurally capture the remaining simple logic, and maximizing its scalability.
  In other words, he is an ambitious person who plans to maximize the function and value of the programs he creates by letting them run autonomously. He seems to consider himself always calm and collected, but according to Origuchi, they just have different standards for seeking beauty, and Matsuyama is actually one of the most passionate human beings.
